The single best cafe experience I've ever had. I think they have the best coffee I've ever had, and I've drank a LOT of coffee in my life. Truly a gem of Yamanashi.

This cafe is located along Yamanashi Prefectural Route 216 and offers an open, airy atmosphere. Although it's a bit of a walk from Yamanashishi Station, it's not so far as to be inconvenient. It's well suited for a break while waiting for a train after exploring Yamanashi City or returning from hiking or trekking in the area. The interior is very simple, featuring wood-toned furniture and walls and beams in a white-and-black color scheme. As mentioned above, the space feels open and uncluttered, with no excessive decoration, creating a calm and comfortable ambiance. In addition to coffee and tea, there is a wide selection of latte drinks. The quality of the coffee beans and tea leaves is good, and the aroma of the coffee is well balanced - neither too strong nor too weak. On the other hand, the food menu is relatively limited. Cakes must be chosen from the display case near the register. This cafe is best regarded as a place to enjoy the aroma and flavor of coffee and tea, as well as latte art, rather than for a full meal. Coffee beans are also available for purchase. Across the road is a park (Manriki Park), but since the seating area is on the ground floor and traffic on the prefectural road is fairly heavy during the day on both weekdays and weekends, it's best not to expect particularly scenic views from window seats. Even though it was a weekend, the cafe was not very crowded at the time of my visit, and the staff’s service was generally pleasant and attentive.
